The episode begins with Dadi calling Abhira over. Manisha gives Abhira a high-five and wishes her good luck. Abhira goes to Dadi. Vidya remarks that Abhira has struck up a friendship. Manisha denies it. Suwarna asks Manish to look at the Agarwal’s granddaughter. Ruhi mentions that she liked her, as she was her school classmate. Manish recalls Pakhi used to fight with her.
Ruhi mentions that Pakhi has changed a lot and Manish should consider it. Vikas says he is thinking about it and looks at Ruhi. Ruhi offers to get his medicines and recalls Armaan’s words. She asks Manish if he has eaten and then inquires about his interests. Vikas reveals that the girl he likes is in the house and he is interested in Ruhi for his Manav.
Ruhi mentions that Armaan came online and smiles. Manish is confused and asks her to clarify. Ruhi says she met Kaveri, but Ruhi is not coming back. Vikas mentions that Rohit won’t return and questions if she should wait for him forever. Surekha adds that they want her to move on, but Manish interrupts and says they like Manav and Ruhi together, but they should also like each other. Ruhi receives a message from Armaan and says he is trying to avoid her, but she is there to talk.
Vikas mentions that if they don’t like each other, it’s fine. Manish asks if it will not affect their friendship. Vikas reassures him that it won’t and praises Ruhi’s kachoris. He asks Manish to think about Manav and suggests making them meet. Suwarna agrees. Abhira messages Armaan. The lady informs Dadi that they will call her on stage in 5 minutes. Dadi looks for something in her purse. Armaan replies to Abhira, asking her not to do anything trademark Abhira-like on stage. Abhira is confused and asks what he means.
Dadi asks Abhira if she has seen her speech, as she can’t remember if she left it at home. Abhira reassures her that she wrote the speech and will remember it. Dadi stumbles, and Abhira offers her some water.
Abhira asks if she has taken her BP medicines today, to which Dadi replies no. Abhira then asks if she brought them along, and Dadi again replies no. Dadi holds her head, and Abhira gives her some ORS drink. Abhira suggests going home, but Dadi insists on staying as people are waiting for her speech. Abhira argues with her, but the lady interrupts and asks Dadi to come. Kajal brings tea for Sanjay, but he throws the cup in anger and scolds her, criticizing her for not handling Krish and Charu properly.
Kajal apologizes and cries. Armaan notices his mother and asks if she is okay. Vidya reassures him that she is fine. Armaan mentions that he is not affected by Charu’s words and asks his mother to talk to Dadisa to allow Charu to do an internship. Dadi asks Abhira to wait and goes on stage to give her speech, addressing the need for empowering daughters.
Abhira helps her with the speech, and everyone applauds. Dadi praises Abhira for saving her respect and offers her a reward, but Abhira asks for permission for Charu’s internship instead. Dadi initially refuses but eventually agrees, acknowledging Abhira’s perspective.
