The episode begins with Ruhi running and thanking Vidya. Vidya replies, “That’s enough, a daughter doesn’t need to thank her mom. When you first told me about this, I was shocked. But the more I think about it, the more I believe you’re right for Armaan.
” Ruhi hugs and thanks her, then says, “But you didn’t tell Dadi that Armaan and I were in love before.” Vidya explains, “Armaan sacrificed his love for Rohit, and only I understand this. Maasa and others wouldn’t, so I didn’t want you to look bad in front of everyone.” Ruhi thanks her again. Abhira recalls Ruhi’s words as Ruhi dances happily, while Abhira cries. “Jhoke ye hawa…” plays in the background.
A guy asks Armaan for a lift. Armaan talks to him, mentioning, “My wife also studies at the same college.” The guy recognizes him, “You’re Armaan Poddar, Abhira’s husband, right?” Meanwhile, Ruhi decides to meet Armaan to share the good news but can’t find him.
She confidently says, “I’ll tell him personally,” and throws a toy, saying, “I’m not afraid anymore; no one can break this relationship now.”
Abhira arrives at the college, feeling lost. Her friend encourages her to come inside. Abhira, recalling Vidya’s words, tries to focus on her exam but gets distracted again. She writes the wrong name and asks for an extra sheet, causing the other students to laugh. The teacher admonishes her, “Don’t make this mistake again.”
She wonders why she’s forgetting everything and briefly imagines Abhira and Ruhi mocking her. Shaking her head, she denies this imaginary scenario, then looks around. Meanwhile, Armaan discusses Abhira’s exam with someone, expressing his belief that Abhira will fulfill his promise by taking the exam. However, he’s shocked to learn that Abhira has left the exam hall.
In another conversation, Madhav asks about Armaan and Ruhi’s potential marriage, to which Vidya sees no issue. Sanjay disagrees, suggesting Ruhi should marry into a different family. Kajal supports Armaan and Ruhi’s compatibility, while Manisha opposes it. Dadi intervenes, requesting time to consider the matter.
Abhira rushes to the arts room and vents her emotions, feeling she has ruined everything for the sake of love. She acknowledges that Armaan doesn’t love her and that the entire family may hate her. Despite this, she questions her inability to control her feelings.
Armaan finds her there and questions her absence from the exam hall, reminding her of the effort he put in for her exams. Abhira, however, declares that she has relieved him of her responsibility, insisting that he focus on Ruhi, whom he is going to marry. Armaan is taken aback by her statement.
As they argue, Abhira asserts her decision to free Armaan from her life and its burdens. She leaves, leaving Armaan to ponder her words. Later, when an official questions Abhira’s presence in the exam hall, Armaan steps in to defend her, but she refuses his help.
Confident in her integrity, she suggests checking the CCTV footage to verify her actions, tearing up an answer sheet as a sign of her defiance and self-reliance.
