The episode opens with tension as Tanuja accuses Jhanak of being shameless. Appu defends Jhanak, calling everyone else shameless. Shubh and Bablu get into a heated argument, with Bablu standing up for Jhanak. Appu mentions that Anirudh has applied medicine to Jhanak’s foot, suggesting they’re making a scene out of it. She reassures Jhanak that her pain will soon disappear.
Jhanak, trying to ease the tension, offers tea to Bablu and Choton. Anirudh, feeling the need to clarify, asks when he refused tea, expressing his desire for some as well. Tanuja questions why he went to Jhanak’s room at night to bandage her foot.
Anirudh explains that he brought her home, so it’s his responsibility, and he did it to avoid complications if left unattended. He emphasizes that he needs to be accountable to everyone present, and he had asked Jhanak to accompany him for the injection.
He urges Jhanak to prepare to leave, but she insists on going at 10 am. Bipasha expresses her frustration, fearing that if Arshi finds out, it could ruin their marriage. Jhanak clarifies that she didn’t ask him to come to her room; he did so willingly to help her. She feels obligated to comply with his requests, unable to refuse his commands. Shubh interjects, questioning what else she feels she can’t refuse, leaving everyone stunned.
Jhanak challenges, “Insult me if you must, for I have become accustomed to it, but spare your own son, Sir ji doesn’t deserve this.” Shubh interjects, “Stop this nonsense, you are…” but Jhanak cuts him off sharply, “Enough! You are about to say something so base, despite being a man of stature and success, you seek to humiliate me.
Why are you dragging your son into this?” Anirudh tries to calm the situation, “Relax, my intentions weren’t wrong, I don’t care.” Bipasha intervenes, “Fine, call Arshi and tell her the truth.” Anirudh questions, “Why should I? Does she inform me of her meetings? Why should I clarify? I merely treated her like family.
” Bipasha retorts, “Since when did Jhanak become family?” Anirudh asserts, “She is a part of this family as long as she is here. Even after she leaves, she will remain a part of this family.” Bipasha disagrees, “No, she is just a maid.” Anirudh defends, “I invited her as a guest, you made her a maid. I will not blindly follow dad’s decisions anymore; I will do things my way.
” He declares, “Neither Bipasha nor anyone else will stop Jhanak from entering the kitchen.” Dadi tries to calm the situation, “Let’s not get into all this, don’t worry.” Anirudh persists, “I understand, but your decisions can be wrong. Jhanak shouldn’t be insulted, I won’t allow it.” Bipasha taunts, “Wow, you’ve worked your magic on him overnight. He’s ready to marry Arshi, but you’re still in his heart.” Jhanak interjects, “Stop these disgusting talks.
” Tanuja chimes in, “We are the ones being insulted.” Bipasha threatens, “I will inform Arshi and send her this picture. If Arshi still wants to marry you, it’s her choice. I feel sorry for her; she loves you, and you are deceiving her.” Anirudh demands, “What do you mean?”
She accuses, “You’re willing to betray Arshi for such a low and repulsive girl.” Jhanak, seeking respect, asks, “What must I do to earn your respect?” Bipasha curtly responds, “Shut up, Jhanak.” Jhanak retorts, “I’ve tolerated your attitude since arriving here; you can handle a bit of mine.
” Choton, impressed, interjects, “Impressive, Jhanak, you’re right. Bipasha’s actions have compelled me to agree.” Dadi intervenes, halting Choton, and prompts Jhanak to explain if it’s appropriate for a girl to be with a man who is getting married in two days.
Jhanak defends herself, stating, “I didn’t call him; he came of his own accord. Everyone can think what they want. Even if he came in the morning, it’s about perception. You all have misunderstood. Even if we clarify, you will maintain the same opinion. It won’t matter. I was in pain, none of you cared to inquire.
I had a high fever, Sir Ji came to my room. He feared infection could spread, leading to a potential police case against all of you. He acted sensibly. You are making him out to be foolish. He suggested I take a tetanus injection in the morning.
” Bablu apologizes, admitting, “I should have spoken with you.” Jhanak reveals, “Only Anjana and Choton were aware of my injury.” Bipasha, unrelenting, comments, “She’s always creating drama, confusing everyone. One day, she’ll ruin her sister’s life. I’m sorry, but I feel I shouldn’t attend Anirudh and Arshi’s wedding.
” Tanuja, confused, questions, “What are you saying?” Anirudh intervenes, assuring, “It’s fine. I’ll talk to Arshi. Don’t be upset.” Tanuja presses, “What’s the matter?” He confesses, “I don’t want to repeat my mistakes.” Bipasha, enraged, retorts, “Go to hell,” and storms off. Anirudh instructs Jhanak, “Serve breakfast, then come for the injection.” Jhanak asserts, “I’ll go alone.” Anirudh insists, “I’ll take you. I want her to come with me. Everyone deserves a second chance.”
Shubh expresses disbelief, to which Anirudh responds, urging Shubh not to heed false opinions about him and Jhanak. Meanwhile, Jhanak attempts to interject, but Choton encourages her to focus on her preparations and ignore the gossip.
Later, Appu gleefully remarks on the outcome of a game, prompting a scolding from Shubh and Tanuja. Bipasha contacts Arshi, recounting a situation where she believes Anirudh was being overly intimate with Jhanak. Shocked, Arshi contemplates cancelling her impending marriage, feeling she may have made a grave error in choosing Anirudh.
Meanwhile, Anirudh accompanies Jhanak to a doctor’s appointment, where she expresses fear of injections. Anirudh reassures her, reminiscing about her childhood memories, and assures her of his support as she prepares to leave for Mumbai after her exams, though inwardly conflicted about her departure.
