Savi inaugurates her tea shop with a traditional pooja, lighting the stove to start preparing tea. Nearby, Shukla and his wife chant “Ganapati Bappa Morya.” As they do, Yashwant arrives with Nishi, and they head towards the shop. Spotting them, Shukla quickly hides. Nishi, displaying a rude demeanor, orders two teas with specific sugar and milk preferences. Yashwant, however, comments optimistically, suggesting that their presence will attract more customers.
In a gesture of gratitude, Savi offers the first tea to Shukla and his wife for their help in setting up the shop. This action doesn’t sit well with Yashwant and Nishi. Meanwhile, nearby students make snide remarks, commenting on how Ishaan’s wife has opened a tea stall despite recent events, speculating whether her father-in-law will pay or offer blessings.
Nishi chastises Shukla for prioritizing social work over his college duties, to which he explains that it’s his second shift of the day.
Yashwant savors his tea, claiming it pairs well with the morning paper. He then tosses the paper towards Savi, urging her to peruse it, only to abruptly discard his tea. He hands her a hundred rupee note, instructing her to keep the change. Savi, seeing this as an initial investment, gratefully accepts. Yashwant informs her of a notice in Ishaan’s name that she must read.
Meanwhile, Ishaan and Reeva make their way to college. Reeva, curious, reads the notice in the paper—ostensibly from Yashwant but in Ishaan’s name—declaring Savi’s disassociation from the Bhosale family and their disavowal of her actions. Heartbroken, Savi feels betrayed and questions her judgment. Reeva asks Ishaan if he had a hand in this; he denies any involvement.
As rumors spread among students, suggesting the Bhosales have abandoned Savi for her misdeeds, Ishaan is appalled by Yashwant’s drastic actions. He resolves to meet Savi and clarify that he had no part in the notice. Amidst the ensuing chatter, Savi is left reeling from the unexpected turn of events.
Ishaan arrives with Reeva at Savi’s tea shop. Upon seeing him, Savi burns a newspaper, clearly upset and remembering Yashwant’s words. Sensing the tension, Reeva advises Ishaan that it’s not the right time to approach Savi. Understanding, Ishaan quietly gets back into the car and they drive to his cabin.
Inside, Reeva consoles Ishaan, assuring him that it’s not his fault and he shouldn’t blame himself. She encourages him to take a deep breath and relax. Ishaan follows her advice and expresses gratitude for stopping him from talking to Savi. He reveals his frustration with Savi’s behavior, explaining that he was angry with his family and wanted to confront Yashwant for the news article.
He recalls how his family supported him through thick and thin, including when he married Savi and brought her home, and even during his breakup with Reeva. He acknowledges Reeva’s unwavering support and promises to heed her and his family’s advice from now on. He’s taken aback by Savi’s apparent hatred, especially after she had claimed to love him so deeply.
Savi accidentally burns her hand while preparing tea. Shukla and his wife notice and express concern, advising her to put her hand in water. Savi reassures them that she’s fine, but Shukla observes her distress over a newspaper notice. Despite her protests, Shukla encourages her to let him handle the tea shop for the day.
As Shukla prepares to leave for work, he serves lunch to Ishaan, asking him to finish it while he picks up his tiffin later. Ishaan questions this, pointing out that his duty hours are from 12 noon to 10 p.m., and he gets paid for a 10-hour shift. He warns Shukla that he will resign if the rules are not followed, offering pen and paper to formalize the decision if necessary.
