Udne Ki Aasha 6th May 2024 written Episode: Full Update only on Yo Desi Serials.
The episode begins with Sachin taking Sayali to buy a Gajra for her. He tells her that his father asked him to buy it for her. As they reach the shop, the lady warmly greets Sayali and Sachin, praising Sayali for having such a caring husband. Sachin inquires about the price of the Gajra, but the lady insists that it’s a gift and refuses to take any money. Sachin remarks that one should keep relationships and business separate.
Later, as they are leaving, Shobha recalls Renu’s words. Sayali stops Sachin and tells him that her father never drank alcohol, and she doesn’t want him to drink in front of her family. Sachin, however, is adamant and refuses to comply, stating that he had already informed his father about not wanting to get married, and he won’t be ordered by Sayali. He asserts his right to drink whenever he wants.
Sayali proposes, “You shouldn’t drink in front of them. I’ll inform them you’ll have dinner later, and I’ll bring food for you. You can drink in the room.” He brightens up, saying, “You should’ve said so earlier.” As they arrive at the chawl, Shobha and Juhi warmly welcome them.
The neighbors also extend greetings to Sayali. Juhi performs a ritual and playfully asks Sachin for money. Sachin hands her 100 rupees. Juhi jests, and Sachin responds, “I don’t have much money, you keep this.” She quips, “I’ll do your aarti from now on, keep notes for me,” and laughs. Shobha invites them inside.
Sayali gazes at Alok’s picture fondly. Sachin, curious, asks about the man in the photo. Sayali replies, “That’s my dad.” Sachin’s expression changes as he recalls, “Oh, he’s the one who died in front of my dad’s train.” Just then, Dilip enters, and Shobha offers Sachin a drink. The girl present comments positively about Sachin, suggesting he is a good match for Sayali. Juhi brings water for Sachin, who drinks it but then coughs. Concerned, the lady suggests Sayali pat Sachin’s back, but Sachin declines, assuring them he’s fine.
Kaki arrives and notices Sachin’s complexion, wondering why he seems darker than before. Sachin explains, “The groom was fair when they came to fix the marriage. He ran away from the mandap on the wedding day, so they made me sit in the mandap instead.” The others try to divert Kaki’s attention, and Shobha offers to make tea. The neighbors take their leave, and Sayali questions Sachin’s statement. He insists he only spoke the truth.
Dilip apologizes, saying he can’t stay and must leave for a college tour, despite Sayali’s earlier suggestion to wait until next year. He leaves abruptly, saying, “Who has seen next year?” Sachin then asks for the washroom, and Sayali directs him.
She intercepts Dilip and inquires about the source of the 6000 rupees, questioning if their mother took a loan. Dilip denies this, explaining that he actually came to ask for money because he was upset. He recounts that while on his way home, he ran into Sachin.
A flashback shows Sachin meeting Dilip and inquiring about his mood. Dilip shares his daily routine of going to college and meeting Sayali. Sachin probes further, asking if Renu said something to upset him. Dilip clarifies that it’s about the college’s upcoming tour, which he can’t afford to join due to lack of funds. Sachin insists that he should go and enjoy himself, offering him the money.
Initially hesitant, Dilip refuses, but Sachin persuades him, emphasizing that it’s time to enjoy life and he should not miss this opportunity. Sachin reveals his own sacrifice, mentioning his car’s EMI, and assures Dilip that he will manage the money. Overwhelmed, Dilip accepts the money, and Sachin advises him not to disclose this to anyone at home to avoid suspicion.
Returning to the present, Dilip praises Sachin, emphasizing his kindness and understanding nature. Meanwhile, Sayali approaches Sachin, her face lighting up upon seeing him. Another woman notices Sachin carrying fishes and compliments him, while others praise Sayali.
Later, at home, Sachin arrives with the fish, but he seems unsteady at the door, raising concerns that he might be drunk. However, he clarifies that he’s not intoxicated but excited about the fresh fish he bought. Sayali questions his sudden decision to buy fish, especially on a Tuesday when they traditionally avoid eating fish. Sachin, unaware of this tradition, regrets the purchase and offers to return it. Despite this, Kaki intervenes, suggesting that they cook the fish, citing it as a sign of divine blessing. Sachin supports her idea, playfully teasing Sayali.
The family then prepares the fish, but Sayali silently wishes that Sachin would return home without having indulged in alcohol. Unfortunately, Sachin arrives home in a drunken state, causing Sayali to worry.
